Macaroni and Cheese Chicken Casserole
Homemade macaroni and cheese with chicken is a kid-friendly recipe that the whole family can enjoy. The added chicken gives protein for building and maintaining children's growing bodies. Ingredients
- 3-4 cups cooked chicken (shredded or cubed)
- 3-4 cups cooked noodles
- 2 cups shredded cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
- Step 1 Place the cooked chicken and noodles in a casserole dish.
- Step 2 Combine the condensed soup, milk, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder and mix it well.
- Step 3 Add the shredded cheese on top of the noodles and chicken.
- Step 4 Pour the soup mixture on top.
- Step 5 Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, or until the casserole is heated and the cheese is melted.
Method:
First, place the cooked chicken, noodles, and cheese in a casserole dish.
In a separate bowl (or measuring cup, as I used), combine the soup, milk, pepper, garlic powder, and garlic onion, and mix them.
Spread the cheese over the pasta and chicken.
Then, add the mixture in the bowl to the cooked chicken and pasta.
Bake the casserole in the oven until the cheese is melted and all of the ingredients are heated through.
