Easy Spinach and Cheese Omelette
A recipe for a quick and easy spinach, egg and cheese omelette.
Ingredients
- 3 eggs,
- handful of spinach
- handful of shredded cheese
- butter or olive oil
Directions
- Step 1 Heat the pan over the stove and melt butter in the pan.
- Step 2 Add 3 eggs and stir them in the pan.
- Step 3 Cover the eggs to slightly cook them for a few minutes.
- Step 4 Add a handful of spinach to the top of the eggs, and then cover again until the spinach begins to wilt.
- Step 5 Add the shredded cheese, and then fold the omelette in half. Then cover again just until the cheese begins to melt.
- Step 6 Serve and enjoy!
This is a quick recipe for a spinach and cheese omelette in a hurry.
The ingredients that you will need are:
- 3 eggs
- butter
- a handful of spinach
- a handful of shredded cheese
First, heat a pan over medium heat. Then, add a tablespoon or so of butter (or olive oil) to oil the pan.
Then crack three eggs into the pan. I usually just stir and blend the eggs right in the pan to use fewer dishes. After you’ve stirred the eggs, cover the pan with a lid to let the eggs cook a bit.
Once the eggs are slightly cooked, add a handful of spinach on top and cover the pan again for the spinach to begin to wilt (about 3-5 minutes).
After the spinach is softened, add a handful of any flavor of shredded cheese on top.
With a spatula, fold the omelette in half, and cover the omelette again. Cook for just a few minutes or so until the cheese begins to melt.
Serve and enjoy!
